Fish Mate
These gravity filters (i.e require installation at or above the desired outlet) are for pump fed systems. They contain filter sponges to provide mechanical filtration, UV tubes to kill the algae that cause green water and SUPRA bio media.

Oase Filtoclear
These pressurised filtration systems are to be used on pump fed systems. The water is pushed through layers of filtration foam which provides mechanical and some biological filtration also contained is an integral UVC clarifier to kill algae. Dirty water is sealed within the unit until the simple backwash mechanism is operated to clear the foam and flush away the polluted water. These can be buried almost completely in the ground and due to the pressurised nature can be used before waterfalls without being elevated.

Oase Biotec
Using different grades of foam to provide mechanical and biological filtration the Biotec systems come in various sizes to suit a wide range of ponds. Models can be combined to allow for larger ponds or those with higher stocking levels.

Evolution Aqua ‘The Answer’
‘The Answer’ is designed to fit to exit pipework from the settlement stage or prime mechanical filtration chambers, whether gravity or pump fed from the pond. The answer helps to prevent solids from entering the biological stage of the filter. All the water which passes through ‘The Answer’ is finely filtered (particles from 100 micron to 200 micron are removed – depending on the model). The rotor arms which pump water from inside to continually clean the screen ensure that there are no blockages – particles lodged on the outside which are naturally trying to get through, are forced away and eventually settle at the bottom of the container.

‘The Answer’ can be fitted to the Nexus, or to most settlement chambers or primary vortexes (depending on the size of the container – please ask for details if fitting to existing system).

Evolution Aqua ‘The Nexus’
The Nexus combines mechanical and biological filtration in one unit and can be used on ponds from 4500 to 34000 litres. The Nexus consists of a primary settlement vortex, which contains a foam block as standard but can be upgraded to contain ‘The Answer’, and a biological stage which consists of the Kaldness Moving Bed™ process – here K1 media is aerated to constantly agitate the media to create the best possible environment for the correct bacteria to colonise.

Bead Master
Complete mechanical and biological filtration in one unit with a small footprint. High biological filtration is achieved via the use of small beads which have a massive surface area. The powerful backwashing ensures that all debris is removed but ensures that the beneficial bacteria is not disturbed.
It is recommended that if used as main filtration it is used in conjunction with a vortex or other suitable settlement chamber.
